Corn starches with different amylose/mylopectin ratios (80/20, 50/50, 23/77,0/100) were extruded using A Haake parallel, co-rotating twin-screw extruder (Rheomex PTW 24/40p, ? 30) with a slit die (slit width 150 mm) to produce starch film.Processing behaviors of different starches during extrusion were systematically evaluated as functions of processing conditions (moisture content, extrusion temperature, screw speed and feeding speed). |
