The rheological behavior of the 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride ([Bmim]Cl) ionic liquids containing Polybenzimidazole(PBI) from 1wt% to 15wt% was investigated using a rotational rheometry at different temperatures. The apparent viscosity increased with the concentration of PBI. This can be explained by the increase of entanglement point among the PBI macromolecules. The shear-thinning behavior appeared when the concentration of PBI was 2wt%. This behavior became more apparent with the increase of PBI concentration. The apparent viscosity decreased with the increase of the temperatures. |
