an experimental numerical investigation of the transition between flow blockage of highly concentrated suspensions is presented. in particular the influence of the rheological properties of the suspending fluid is considered. the numerical simulations are based on a diphasic model in which the suspension is assumed to be composed of two phases whose rheological properties evolve due relative motion between these phases. |
